I bought my boyfriend and I tickets to the January 2nd Detroit Red Wings/ Anaheim Ducks game. This is the game with the retirement ceremony for Steve Yzerman's Jersey...Would YOU be happy if you received this as a christmas gift? (He's a huge hockey/ red wings/ yzerman fan!...its a surprise!)

Happy? I'd be jumping up and down if I got those. Don't worry about him not being happy with the tickets, I know I would be extremely happy if I was in his shoes. The best gifts come from the heart and your gift is from the heart. You actually thought out what he likes before going out and buying a gift. But if I were you, I would make sure he doesn't already have another set of tickets to the same game. You should do this subliminally without giving away too much information.

I think Disneyland tickets are good Christmas gifts :) I've been getting them every year now for the past 12 years
