My sons girlfriend is an exotic dancer. She and the other ladies wear body makeup, which can cause the pole to become slippery. Face it, while dancing, I'm sure they tend to perspire.. combine that with the makeup and.. Yes, she began to hang upside down, her legs holding tightly to the pole and ZzzZWwWwiiIsSsHhH!!!!! She slammed her shoulder onto the flooring. Seems the lady before her forget to wipe the pole off.
People, get your minds out of the gutter here! Shame on you!

They are supposed to! After each dance, the dancer is supposed to wipe down the pole for the next dancer and so on.
