If zombies attacked right now what will you do to not become one.

Move upstairs with all the supplies I've got, and destroy the stairs. Then I'd shoot any zombie that gets within eyesight of my house until I've used about half my ammo.
Then gun in one hand, machete in the other, I'd head back down to search the area to see how many (if any) are left, and any supplies I can raid.
If someone had evacuated form their house, I might move my base of operations there.

I'd hide on one of the top floors of a high rise and chop down the stairs (like in 28 Days Later). I'd cut the elevator cables while I'm at it and just wait for the army to come rescue me.
For defense, I'd have an aluminum baseball bat and lots of guns. A crossbow would be nice too since you can reuse arrows. I wouldn't use swords, knives, or axes because they may get stuck in the zombie's body, and then I'd be screwed.

I would shoot them all in the head... Although I am trying to devise a formula that will make people into Zombies so the government will legalize the hunting of humans

I've got two handguns and a shotgun at my house. The house has burglar-proof bars on the doors and windows. The only way they could get it was if they managed to pry the garage door open and then kicked in the door leading from the garage to my TV room but that's where I'd be with the handguns, shotgun and lots of ammunition.
I'm not taking any chances if you know what I mean.
