My wife is pregnant, but we aren't sure when the due date is. She got off the pill in June and two very long cycles. She last menstruated 9/20, we made love a lot in October. Her temperature spiked on November first and has been high since. Her temperature started to climb on October 30. She had some spotting on 26th-28th of October. Her breasts became sore on November 1st, and she became naseous on November 23rd. She tested negative on October 28th, and positive on November 13th. When did she ovulate, when did we conceive, and when is the baby due? Thanks!

normally you calculate like this.

she had her last cycle on 9/20 so you add 7 days so that equals 9/27 and subtract 3 months so that would be 6/27

So going by LMP or Last menstral period she should be due on June 27th

This way isn't as exact as by ultra sound but it is what most woment go by.

Congradulations on the pregnancy!

The temperature spike indicates that ovulation just occurred (like the day before). So my guess would be October 29th for ovulation. If her cycles are long, then I don't think this is surprising. Her due date would be 266 days (38 weeks x 7 days) later, putting it at 7/22/07.

How about going to see her OB/GYN? ;) Even an OB/GYN isn't 100% sure what exact day you concieved and such. Even the due date is an "estimated due date" which can change the further along the pregnancy gets. Just because she tested negative on October 28th doesn't mean she wasn't pregnant. Sometimes it takes women many weeks for their hormones to rise enough to show a positive. Just tell her to go make her first appointment. She can ask her professional doctor those questions then.

i wish not, yet its a threat-37 weeks isn't seen untimely. i think so you might omit the delivery, although she'd could desire to a million) pass into hard work on the very early end of the "standard" spectrum 2) have a rather speedy hard work for a 1st time mom. How does she experience approximately it? If its an significant holiday that may not be in a position to be rescheduled, you're in all probability ok.

my guess is mid october, the spotting was implantation bleeding. Therefore when she took the first test she was probably newly pregnant and her hcg levels werent high enough to show up. Congratulations on the pregnancy i wish you the best of luck.

well when she goes to get her first ultrasound they can take a pretty good guess at when you are due based on how big the baby measures.. but from what you say it sounds like you are due near the end of july 2007
