mm_tray.exe - unable to locate component

this application has failed to start because MMVCP70.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

How do I get rid of it? Thank you

MusicMatch Jukebox?

so if you dont use this program anymore

Start, Run, type msconfig then clickOK, go to the Startup tab, and uncheck mm_tray.exe or mm_tray (whichever it is, it could be either), then click OK.


or try reinstalling MMjbox

mm_tray.exe refers to the MusicMatch Jukebox icon in the system tray. (where your clock is in the bottom right corner) It seems like something might have been deleted that shouldn't have been. In any case, you can get rid of this message by disabling MusicMatch from starting up to begin with.

Click on Start, then Run, then type msconfig and hit enter. Click on the Startup tab, and then just uncheck any boxes that looks like it has to do with MusicMatch. Then click OK and restart the computer.
