I feel all of us should get what we receive based on our own hard work-not due to race or gender. I don't support affirmative action, but we DO live in an imperfect world full of prejudices.

I live near Detroit, which as everyone knows has a large black population, and I have find their view on affirmative action to be divided, which to me is interesting. Some get very offended by it, and others feel it is absolutely necessary.

I'm against it because it is a double standard. The points you make are exactly why I don't like it.

I think we should make an effort to help underprivilaged people (not always minorities mind you) but that effort should not be to lower the standard or require someone to hire them. We should help them get qualified through free help classes or something.

so which racial group do you hate the most........I'm guessing blacks. Or maybe you hate wormen!

Perhaps some racial groups get preference for admission, but they do not graduate with substandard performance.

I do have a bias against those who don't speak/write/understand English. This could be confused with racism I suppose.

I do not support it.

It's condescending to blacks.

People know the bar is lowered for blacks,so it takes away from anything they accomplish.

It's an insult to blacks.
