My son won't stop! He's only 10 months old so theres no real way to get him to understand and I know all kids put things in their mouths, but at times he will draw blood!

I tell him no, and then he comes at us in full force. What can I do about this?

Yes teething, 4 on top and 4 on bottom already and more on their way.

Well, he's testing out those new choppers. He's also testing your reactions and it's VERY VERY normal for them to test over and over and over again to see if you still keep having the same reaction. It's how they learn. When my son went through this, I would tell him "NO BITING" in a very stern, low, but not yelling, voice then put him down on the ground. If he came at me again I'd tell him "NO BITING" again and put him in his play pen and leave the room for about 30 to 45 seconds. Then I would come back and get down on his level (and even though he didnt' understand what I was saying) I'd tell him "You may not bite, that is unacceptable, it hurts people when you bite, say I'm sorry and give mommy and kiss." Then he'd give me a kiss and we'd move on to something else. This took about a month of consistency but now he's stopped biting completely and is now hitting. YAY ;)

the only think you can do is be firm and be consistent. try giving him a teething ring or some other distraction when he is biting. my son is also a biter and i can feel your pain literally lol good luck.

use orajel to try and help stop the urge to bite

Put a little soap on the area he's gonna bite. He'll stop.
