knowledge is power, but ignorance is bliss.
with power comes responsibility, but with ignorance you don't know, you don't care, and you live in the belief of what you don't know can't hurt you. It isn't true... but that's how it is perceived.

Knowledge AND wisdom is the real power. You need to have knowledge to have power, yet you need the wisdom to use the knowledge in productive ways that contribute to society.

for me..knowledge is not power....
because the more you learn the more you become ignorant..knowledge about something may lead you to questioning of things beyond your mind can think....and i think the most appropriate term is this: wisdom is power..because wisdom is more deeper and greater than knowledge...knowledge is just what you know...but wisdom is understanding and learning..as they say knowledge comes but wisdom lingers...
if you've got knowledge..would you have the power to do great things or would you hve the power to make miracles...wihtout even understanding that knowledge...??????while having the so-called wisdom will give you power to understand why things go this way..etc..

It sure is.In this life the person who can provide an answer to life's nagging questions certainly has some amount of power and the more the knowledge the more the power!!!!

Power is a mixture of Wisdom, commen sense, and Knoledge for example if someone is attacking you and you know they have a bad knee you can kick there knee and put them on the ground if your smart enough you can get away with alot of things if you have commen sense you wont temp something that you know youll lose at if you have wisdom youll know how to plan things out so you can do whatever you want to do. true knowledge is knowing that you know very little!!! Power is very hard to define in that sense...

Knowlege is its own thing. You can obtain power thru knowledge. Or you can obtain power from cunning; however you can never obtain knowledge from mere power. Knowledge is a power all of its own that can be used for good or evil.

knowledge lets you know whats happing and gives you the power to come to your own ideas instead of blindly beliving what the people in charge tell you so knowledge is power
