usually you will get a new one but due to the fact u got a waarranty so they will replace the i pod but you have to pay a price for damages. I dropped mine in water and I had 2 yrs warranty and I had to pay $70 as damages.

Unless you bought the store's extended warranty, probably not. The manufacturer's warranty protects against manufacturing defects and won't cover negligence.

no the warranty only covers if it has a problem such as the screen froze you can't download songs a TECHNICAL problem not something that you did to it.
