Only reason i ask is that ours is very grubby with various stains and being a smoker my side is not very nice looking at all,i hate to see it when i change the covers. Is a very good mattress so apart from stains no need to buy a new one.So does turning affect the way its supposed to be slept on?

If you turn a non-turn matress, you will unleash a mighty, evil force on the world that will engulf all that is good and make humankind into a sea of faceless slaves.

It's Pandora's box I tell you.

Turning a non-turn matress will get you to clean the top after one night. You'll be poked and prodded with sharp coils. I would reccomend using a vinegar/water solution and a scrub brush to clean your mattress.

I did it and springs poked through....sharp springs ...ouch. I had to flip it back the way it was orginaly. it was only 6months old at the time. I dont know if it will happens to all of them or just mine. Since fliping it back its ok. I rotate it from time to time, but no longer flip it.
