My son is in first grade and I have had it with the public educational system. I would like for him to attend a private school next year. One that he will get a quality education at where they push the kids to do their absolute best in all that they do.

I have very high expectations for my son. He is my only child and since can can...I would like to be able to provide the best education for him.

What is the best way to find a school that has high standards and also teaches them morals and values.

Charter Schools are good schools. My nieces are attending a charter school and they are being taught very well. They love their school, their grades are good and so are their academic scores. I attended a public school and I feel that they do want they can when they can, but in charter schools, every child gets the attention they need, instead of the kids that they find most popular.

Really, you should be the one teaching your child morals and values. This is where our country has problems...schools are expected to do the job of parents. Your child is awfully young for you to have "had it" with the public schools. He can get a quality education ANYWHERE, as long as he wants an education. All teachers should push for students to do their absolute best, just like you should. I was educated in a public school and graduated with a 4.752 GPA, over 1300 on the SATs, a 5 on my AP English exam as a junior and a scholarship to Campbell University. Your son will get out what he puts in, no matter where he goes. He will be most influenced by your attitude towards his education and the help you give him in receiving one.
