OK here's what's going on:
Period was 3 days late, it started out as spotting on Dec 11 got slightly heavier but went back to spotting the next day. It completely ended on the 13th ( today). I kinda had some pg symptoms but resisted temptation to test early. Could I be pregnant or just wishful thinking?
I am also 38 so it could also be menopause??

I should also add that my periods are ALWAYS about 6-7 days long with the first day being more than spotting and then get heavier the 2nd 3rd days and then get lighter for the rest.

Hopefully it is not menopause which should start sometime in your 50's or sixties , but you are right it can start earlier so keep your fingers crossed

The best advice is to wait a week after your missed period and then test. Sometimes women who want a child can create symptoms that arent "really" there thus creating the "Am I ? " thought which may lead to disappointment. Best wishes

Well, I don't think you're at your menopause age. Anything could happen, but you're actually in your sexual prime lol!! My periods actually have NEVER been longer than 4 days. Strange huh? I always thought there was something wrong with me...but...I just found I I was pregnant with my first in October!!!! :) (BTW..I'm 25) But...even if you don't continue to have anymore symtoms get a pregnancy test as soon as you can just to make sure you're not pregnant, because if you are....then you need to get the proper vitamins...and etc..to have a healthy baby. I hope things work out the way you want. GOOD LUCK!!
