Anymore, cordless screw guns for the homeowner are fairly inexpensive. You can buy a brand new one starting at around $20! If you need to replace to charger cord, it may cost you that same amount, plus the time to order it. Head to Wal-Mart and just get a new one. The home stores have them also. Alot of other brands besides B&D. Good Luck.

Isn't the idea behind a CORDLESS tool that it doesn't come with a cord? Black & Decker tools are sold at Wal-Mart check there. It may be a cheap enough item you might just want to buy another of the exact same and you would be able to share the charger between the two.

Unplug the drill, wrap it in a small towel to avoid smashing the body, put the drill in a vise, I hope it does not need a key. Take a 14" pipe wrench and aply a counter-clcokwise motion to the spinny part between the body and the chuck. The chuck got jammed because there was an uneven pressure on it from the bit. Try to use at least a 2" magnetic tip holder.
