...for my brother (20 year old, construction worker, hunter, sports guy) and his girlfriend (20 year old, nurse, really girly, into scrapbooking and taking pictures and shopping) they are soooo different and i really don't know what direction to take it. she grew up with us, so we're very close (she lives 3 doors down)...and i just really dunno what to get them. maybe a giftcard to a restaurant or to movie place? gift cards are too impersonnal. my husband and i were hoping to spend around 30 on them...does anyone have any cute ideas?
i know, i know bad question, but i can NOT come up with anything other than gift cards or a picture frame with them in it. agghhhh. help!!!

Ok, I totally understand you don't wanna do a gift card. .. but what if you pumped it up abit? Get a bucket of microwave popcorn from blockbuster and put candy in it, a couple bottles of pop and a gift certificate to the place. Or how about a lap desk for her so she can sort pics or scrap a bit on the couch while he sits with her and you can get him . .. OH OH OH, how about comfy jammies for them!? That goes with the thought I was just having. . .them doing their own thing on the couch while they sit together! Get them each a set of jammies and slippers and they can lounge together; him watching sports or a hunting show and she can be cropping her pics or doing her nails!! Wait, do they live together?

Maybe give them a subscripiton to a magazine about their 'hobbies'. Like for the guy, get him a hunting mag. For the girl, maybe like cosmopolitan or something girlie. If she's not into that, then find something else that she's interested in. Like a gift card to her fav store, or a new camera. For the guy, you could buy him some of his fav sport movies or sport mags.

Look the situation that has been created after the attack on WTC, which has been left to history...tends you to think more that Bush is the only contender to do all this.. You see how he has turned the whole world..forgetting everything from where and how he started...he looks so determined that as if he had well planned everything from before even the WTC was crashed. Do you hear any more speeches of his talking about the WTC attack? Its only on every 9/11 anniversary that he likes to do it..Else he finds to give good speeches on the nuclear issue of Iraq? and Iran? where is the Taliban now?? Head with bullshits thats what is President Mr. Bush...foolinng every people on this earth.. How foolish we are..??

Get him a gift certificate to Dick's Sporting Goods.
Get her a Digital Camera or a gift certificate to somewhere like Bath and Body Works or V. Secret.

You might get your brother some type of Swiss army knife
(if he doesn't already have one)or if he has some sort of console gaming system (eg. Ps2, Xbox, etc.) you can get him a video game. I like your suggestion of the gift card to bath & body works, most girls & women like lotion & stuff.
does your brother have a favorite sports team? you could search on EBay or the net for sports stuff. That's what I would suggest

Ok sounds different but you can get these tshirts made with pictures on them. How about if she has a tshirt with his pic on it and he has a tshirt with her pic on it. That way its kind of cutesy and different yet not that expensive but very personal. Or, you could go to an embroidery shop and have an afghan made with their pic on it for their bed. There are alot of these embroidery shops popping up, even in WalMarts! Really neat looking.Merry Christmas.
