would it be higher without the contract or lower. Because some stores offer phones at lower prices with the contract. But I don't want to buy the contract because I already have one with another company

Yes you would. Cell phone companies make their money on the contract, not the phone.

oh ya there like 200$ more with out the contract.... check out ebay.... cheapest place you will get a phone with out a contract... or check out your providers store...
i just got a free razr but i had to sign another 2 yr agrement on that phone but i was gonna get another one so........ i now have 4 phone... family share plans are the shiot!!!!! cheapest way to do it too.....
