I would suggest songs by Shakira, she has good songs. We listen to her Spanish cd sometimes when we have free time in our Spanish class.

"I'll Be There Before the Next Teardrop Falls"--Freddy Fender ("Y estaré contigo cuando triste estás"). This starts out in English but has whole stretches which are sung in Spanish.
Enrique Iglesias recorded a song called "Hero." I have heard it on a Spanish-language radio station, sung in Spanish (probably by Enrique Iglesias himself). In Spanish, it is called "Héroe" (AIR-oh-way is a pretty close pronunciation, for those reading this who don't speak Spanish). In English, it's quite melodramatic; in Spanish, it's over the top on melodramatic. (English: "Would you dance if I asked you to dance? Would you run and never look back? . . .")

I remember watching Aladdin in Spanish Class, that was fun. Make sure its appropriate for school, even though its in another language, you could still get in trouble. Look up spanish songs, and see what you like. Do something fun, try a Christmas song since its that time of year.

There are Spanish versions of a lot of popular songs. You could always find one of those you like. A song I LOOOOVE is No Me Ames by Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony.
