I have only recently discovered the "Philly" accent, and I've become totally obsessed with it. I love it. I, like most other non Americans I'm sure, have always just kind of assumed it was like a New York one. But it's not! It's really different if you really listen to it! But what I'm wondering is where it came from.

Haha! I'm from Philly, lol.

Which Philly accent are you talking about? There are a buncha different ones depending on what neighborhood you live in. And they're all really distinct.

So which Philly accent are you talking about? You know which neighborhood? If not, can you tell me how certain things are pronounced (besides water, lol. we OWN that word!)? I'ma try to figure out which one you like, lol.

E-mail me! Haha I love accents and whatnot. Maybe we can figure out where all the Philly accents all came from, lol. kokopelli86@gmail.com
