He started out as a news reporter, then a stupid show host, now I think is try to be a news reporter again. ???? What is he thinking!!!

I think Geraldo falls under the category of "pimple on the @ss of society". But if I had to pick one of your descriptions, I'd go with show host.

If I'm not mistaken I think he started out on 20/20 as an investigative reporter. Then moved into having a Jerry springer type show, where he got his nose broke.
