What to do for a New Years party?

How can I set up the first New Years party me and three of friends planned for? What food? What decor? What music? Any advice?

I'm expecting 30+ high school students.

in our country... we do celebrate new year with a BIG BANG!!!
it means alot of fireworks to ward off negative spirit for the year ahead..... we often have alot of singing (with my guitar), while doing barbecue... a simple Punch drink will do.....we do not sleep till morning.... its part of the tradition!!!!
