Sometimes people just get a wild hair up the back side and report it for chatting or adult content, or it doesn't meet the Community Guidelines criteria for a question. Sometimes I've had questions get violation notices after I've given best answer out. Go figure.

Generally Yes i agree that the majority of people are asking and giving opinions in polls & surveys.

Because some people are thin skinned crybabies.
There are some exceptions, but for the most part the report option is abused.

The rules still hold. You aren't allowed to use obscenity, insult others, sell things, etc. etc. etc. I don't bother reporting, it does no good, but the rules are there for a reason.

yes, that's what a poll or survey is for, to gather ppl's opinions. some ppl just don't like the fact that their opinions may differ from others'.

SOME ANSWERS ARE TOTALLY INAPPROPRIATE AND UNCALLED FOR. UNCIVIL IS PUTTING IT MILDLY. THERE'S NO CALL FOR THOSE TYPES OF ANSWERS TO REASONABLE QUESTIONS. ON THE OTHER HAND THEY WAY SOME QUESTIONS ARE ASKED , IT'S QUITE REASONABLE TO ANTICIPATE THOSE TYPES OF RESPONSES. QUITE FRANKLY I WOULD RATHER THOSE TYPES OF QUERIES NOT BE ALLOWED BUT THAT DECISION IS NOT MINE TO MAKE. I CHOOSE NOT TO ANSWER OR COMPLETELY READ THOSE PARTICULAR QUESTIONS TO BEGIN WITH. FORGIVE MY CURIOSITY, BUT, WHAT DID YOU DO THAT MADE YOU ASK THIS QUESTION?

answers get reported when they are rude or indecent or offending in content whether its an opinion or not,,,,we've got minors in here as well,,,,,,
