can not see my web cam.?

Downloaded software...Light comes on. I can turn it on and off.
For some reason I am not getting any picture. If I invite someone
they can accept ,,,there is no video. Is my USB bad ,,, am I not turning something on. Looks like it it is set up ok. just no video..

Delete it from the device manager. Disconnect it from your pc.Uninstall the software that came with the webcam. Shutdown your pc. Restart the pc and install the software/driver, plug-in your webcam when the software ask for it or after the installation.
