Dive headfirst into everything that made you want to move there in the first place. Check out the nightlife, the scenery, the parks & museums and so on. If you're in the new city as the result of a new job, then ask your new coworkers where you should begin exploring. Join a gym and meet some new people. Explore your neighborhood, starting there first and working outward. Check out the local restaurants and music scene. You're young, single and able so do everything but waste your youth in front of the television. Get out there and do it, man!

Well... why did you move there in the first place? Work, family, girl? There's a reason you're there... go with that. The people you know always have something that interests them or maybe they know some of the hot spots that would be fun. If you're there all by your lonesome... go out to clubs, parks, museums, games. There is probably plenty to do... just go out and find it. You will probably have no trouble if you're not shy and like to meet new people.

he should get off his **** and go shopping, take a tour, check out the nightlife, find a job, reinvent yourself and eat. he should definitely not sit there on "answers" waiting for an answer. you're in a new city for goodness sake, unlike the rest of us losers who have nothing better to do. it's time to relieve the intimate bond between you and yahoo. get some... "space".
