Either it smells like a dog, or if you're talking about the planet Pluto, it's odorless, because its atmosphere is composed of nitrogen, methane, and carbon dioxide, all of which are odorless to people. The surface of Pluto doesn't smell like anything either, because it's made out of the same stuff, but solid, and including water ice. So, it must smell pretty clean even though you'll die real fast in there breathing in that place.

Well, since no one has ever been to Pluto, we would have to guess what it might smell like.
But we couldn't smell on Pluto; analysis of the light reflected from that world, plus the fact its so extremely cold there, leads us to the assumption there is likely no atmosphere.
So no air, nothing to smell.
But if there was a trace atmosphere somehow, since that world is so far from the sun it would most likely be methane and hydrogen (with perhaps some traces of ammonia and carbon dioxide). All this is lethal to us.

But lets assume there is some atmosphere there and we can breathe it (at least for a short time) without any problems. I would think the predominent odour would be of methane, which basically smells like a sewer.

Pluto has very little atmosphere, and the gasses present are kind of like a frozen mist with no natural smell, the surface is frozen, producing no smell, so it should smell just like nothing smells like

I really wanted to answer "a cartoon dog"
