of course! i'm a fatty, but i'm married...and have had a few boyfriends...i was in a couple really long relationships before i met my husband. i think thin girls are just as beautiful as chubby girls are. it's all in the way you hold yourself. guys are attracted to confident girls. if you think you look fat, wear darker clothing and stay away from horizontal stripes. if you want guys to notice you, just take a little time in the morning, do your hair, put on make up...or heels!

well it depends on how "not exactly skinny" she is. sure there are a few guys that actually do like "big and beautiful", although i myself find the term a contradiction. the fact of the matter is, attractive guys will tend to not find overweight women attractive, because they know they can do better. availability/being in the same league is actually much more appealing to men than overall looks. so if a guy thinks he can't do much better than you, he'll see you as more attractive than you really are. chances are, with low self esteem "your sister" will also think she can't do any better and see the same thing. so don't expect brad pitt to come knocking at your door, but there's a lot of guys out there. just be realistic.

Well I asked my boyfriend this and told him to be honest about it. He thinks those women that are really skinny are sickly looking and they are "easily breakable". He would much rather have a woman with some curves. They seem to look much healthier and more attractive than toothpick thin women!
Mind you this is coming from a man not myself!
Let your sister know, the average size for a woman now days is 14 and not a perfect 10 anymore! Tell her she should be happy for who she is and that beauty is in the eye of the beholder! It's whats on the inside that counts!

Definitely YES! Being comfortable with who she is would help her a lot. She needs to get involved in some after school activities and clubs. Meeting new people and new friends could be just the answer for her.

Of Course. Actually, if you look around, the trend is starting to turn to plus size women. Some men LOVE to actually have something to put their arms around. Bony chicks aren't always attractive. You have to see yourself as beautiful before others do. Remember that. Let your body do what it is going to do NATURALLY! Don't stress the pounds, just make sure you are eating healthy and relax. Girl, you look good. :)

I've seen plenty of 'not exactly skinny' girls who have been happily married for a long time.
I'm sure there is someone out there for her. As long as she can find someone who likes her for her, and not just for what she looks like, she'll be okay in the long run.

Men don't like the skinny little waifs. They look malnourished and like they are going to drop dead any second. We like the full figured, meat on her bones kind of girl. Something we can get ahold of without fear of breaking her! So tell your sister she is just fine!

she shouldn't have low self esteem, she is beautiful if she would look on the inside. she doesn't need a guy that doesn't think she is physically attractive. to hell with men, some are just stupid. look deeper. she'll find love if she can learn to love herself.

I'm not skinny and I make jaws drop and necks break when I walk by. Being bigger isn't a bad thing.

sometimes men are attracted to a girl that is on the heavy side and its her personality that wins him over.some men think that heavy women are still pretty even though they are heavy.
