I saw it, and that totally looked like genuine shock and disgust to me. After all, she's rich and famous, and this little chick comes along from American Idol and takes her award?
The only apology was for PR purposes. It wasn't a real apology.

When Carrie Underwood was on Oprah the other day, Oprah asked her about it, and Carrie said that Faith Hill didn't really mean it, and that she called her later on to apologize. I'm not so sure she was kidding either since the camera got a shot of her and the camera never lies right? I am glad that Carrie Underwood won the award because I think she has a great voice, is beautiful, and has a very bright future ahead of her. So Faith Hill will just have to get over it.

First of all people... The CMAs and the ACMs let the winners know ahead of time so they can have things in order... Speaches and what not. Also, Faith was having a blast that night, screwing around with everyone back stage, and she just hammed it up for the camera. Faith knew before the paper was read, that Carrie had won the award. Its been like this for at least 15 years. She knew. It wasnt a surprise. She wasnt mad. Get the facts straight before you pass judgement on someone.

I don't believe Faith Hill really meant it. I think she really was just goofing around with her friends back stage. Faith Hill is a star in her own right, and she seems really sweet. I don't think she would be mad that Carrie Underwood won.

She definitely was kidding. If you watch her before her "reaction", she was in a very silly mood. Also, Carrie and her are good friends. Carrie is Faith's daughter's favorite singer and all that jazz. I'm a fan of both and know that Faith was just kidding...maybe in poor taste, but a joke none the less.

I've watched the reaction over and over on the internet. I think Faith is a spoiled rich, witch with a Capitol B. I think she thinks she deserved it more than a new comer like Carrie Underwood. Watching the video, I don't see any kidding about it. She just forgot that she was on camera. Poor little thing.

Ah, faith Hill is this manner of experienced artist! She has an exquisite voice and that i love the boldness she has. Oh gosh, it truly is so demanding for me to slender down my admired from her... i wager i love a handful of songs from her for particular motives-each and each and every music is different. i love 'Breathe' - i imagine this music is honestly captivating and precisely what love is meant to be. 'Mississippi female' is yet another easily one of my favorites-i love the way it truly is type of like a reminder that even even with the reality that we see her as a glammed up movie star, she's nevertheless authentic to her roots and the picture of something persons. i'd ought to say, 'Wild One' is probable my admired. I grew up listening to that music and function usually circumstances been compared to it. I purely love the message it supplies-to be wild and free. i love that.

I thought it was really funny. You know damn well that when they lose and smile it's just because the camera's there anyway , so why not just let it all hang out. There are too many boring award shows anyways, might as well make them a little more interesting .Who's going to be the sorest loser next year?

Even if she was joking it certainly backfired on her. The next day most people were saying a lot of negative things about her, but there were also those who were defending her as well.

I think it was a joke; but it has been blown out of proportion like the media always intentionally does.
