Yes, of course. Think of other things to do than sexual release. Keep thoughts about sex and the opposite gender away from your mind by getting involved in other activities like reading, listening to music, playing games, or anything else that you like and want to do. Keep away from sexually oriented themes, dont watch porn and keep normal relations with the opposite sex.
Masturbation gives pleasurable sensations and is a useful outlet at a certain age. This habit tapers off in due course of time. If it becomes an obsession, then it needs a consultation with a medico. Self-control is the key to stop excessive masturbation.

idk why u'd wanna stop the greatest thing ever, but anyone can stop... just don't stop if ur gonna start up again, 'cause that could be painful...
