Both of them are politicians, leaders of the world's most powerful economy of their time. Commanders in chief of the world's most effective army of their time, both have met gigantic challenges to ensure the survival of their countries, both are usually judged by the wrong achievements or failures. But Julius Caesar ensured the survival of the roman civilization for another thousand years. Bush just might achieve this too.

There are not too many similarities between the two. One was a dictator who was appointed by the Roman Senate over 2000 years ago; the other is a democratically elected leader. One was assassinated by those closest to him, whilst the other has not really had any serious attempts made upon his life. One man led his nation to victory in many wars, whilst the other has led his nation into an embarassing debacle in a war that should not have been.

If anything, you might want to contrast Caesar and Bush. The only similarities between the two men are that they both led (and lead, in Bush's case) the most powerful states in the world in thei respective times.
