I am going through the same thing. You may be trying too hard. BUT, since it has been a year it is time to go back to your doctor and see about making an appointment with an RE. I don't know how you are monitoring ovulation if temping or OPK's, but I would suggest OPK's. I would also suggest a lubricant called Pre-Seed. Other lubricants kill sperm, but this lubricant is sperm friends and actually aids in you getting pregnant. I just bought some and I am hoping it has worked for me this month. I know FOUR people who this has worked for and that is why I decided to try it. ALSO, take Robitussin during the few days before, during, and the few days after ovulation. This helps with cervical mucus. If that still doesn't work definitely make an appointment. You may be fine but your husband/partner may have some problems that they need to check out.

Have you tried charting your basal body temperature? That can help you see a pattern of when you ovulate making it easier to time your intercourse. Generally after a year of active trying the doctors will start testing you and your partner. So if your doctor won't help you out, I'd find a new one. Like the first thing to test is usually your partner's semen.

I would take a few months off, and consult a fertility doctor.
You will be treated for macrophages. Your husband's sperm count will be checked, and they inject dye into you uterus to make sure you tubes are not blocked. (They monitor with ultrasound or X-ray, not sure).
Friend's of mine tried for 7 years. Then they switched doctors and the new doctor treated the for macrophages and they got pregnant the next month. It is a relatively new treatment.
Best of Luck! Seriously though, try taking a month or two off, just for your sanity.

You need to RELAX. Being stressed like this is probably causing the irregular periods.
If you are both fine and not infertile then don't get so worried. Enjoy making love, and not always making it bout getting pregnant. It will happen when you least expect it.

you are trying too hard. Over stressing about it will cause it to not happen. And if your partner is also stressing...it will make a dif there also. make sure his sperm count is high enough also..may want to wear loose fitting boxer shorts for a while and then watch for your ovulation period

in all honesty maybe give yourself a little break. Dont try not to get pregnant but maybe not try to force it so much. Less stress and I thin you have better odds of getting pregnant.
