i assume you want to wire it up for heat.

r is red....hot wire
w is white...heat
y is yellow .....compressor
c is blue or brown depending on the brand.....common
g is green fan

to run the furnace and the fan you need to tie w to g and power that with r

if you hook the green up you will get cold air till the furn heats up. most of the time a timer or thermal switch will keep it running for a bit till it removes latent heat. stat is just a switch between red (hot) and the white (usually goes back to safety's before going to gas valve solenoid. from the other side of the solenoid it goes to common of the xfmr completing the circuit
