Thank You:-)

1) Trick question - if there is constant velocity, the forces must be balanced, so 95N ;)
2) F=ma, so a=F/m = (4*25000)/330000

A. The air resistance that acts on a 95 N bag of nails that falls at its terminal speed is 95 N. When an object is falling at its terminal speed, the upward force (air resistance) is equal to the downward force (gravity) . When this happens, there will be no further acceleration. The bag of nails will fall at a constant speed.

B. 25,000 N x 4 engines = 100,000 N of total thrust force.

F = ma
F /m = a
100,000 N / 330,000 kg = a
0.303 m/s2 = a

The value of 25,000 N per engine for a jumbo jet is unrealistic.

The value should be more like 25,000 *kg*, which is roughly 10 times higher, so a real life jumbo jet will have an acceleration of about 10 times the calculated value.

the respond is 60 N. At terminal velocity, there is not any acceleration, meaning that there is 0 internet tension. for the reason that there are in basic terms 2 forces in touch, gravity and drag with the aid of air resistance, the two would desire to be equivalent and opposite with the intention to cancel one yet another out. for the reason that all of us be attentive to that the strain of gravity is 60 N, all of us be attentive to that the air resistance must additionally be 60 N. To be technically maximum surprising, we would desire to consistently comprise warning signs on the forces, The tension with the aid of gravity is -60 N. The tension with the aid of air resistance is 60 N.

1) You need to know the surface are of the bag.
2) N = force = Mass * Accel
N = 25000 * 4 = 100,000
M = 330,000kg
100,000 = 330,000 * A
A = (10/33) m/s2
(sorry, no calculator)
