Ok, so I like this guy, but i don't know if he's gay.Can some one tell me if this would mean he is.

Theres no way you can tell. I had no idea my male friend was gay for a time and nor does anyone else to thsi day, theres no specific way a gay male has to act, and on the other hand i have another friend who spends loads on clothes, getting his haircut, loves compliments frm men and women etc and goes thru women really fast, who gets called gay and i def know he isnt. So my point is theres no stereotypical way of acting that indicates your gay. Alot of guys guys have all male friends, like if theyre all really into sports or computer games they hang around with guys simply cos mostly they get their interests better. Plus if he flirts or kinda acts girly around girls alot, alot of straight men who think alot of themself and think thy can pull anyone do this too, simply becos women quite like it and it gets them attention.
The only way you can find out is to ask him. If you're friends with this guy choose an appropriate time to kinda steer the conversation on to sexuality issues and just ask him if hes gay or hint at it if you're not all tht close and dont know how he'd react if he isnt. I asked my friend how he can tell whos gay and isnt, he said his bf claims that he can tell when another guy is gay aswell, not frm any one mannerism but just a vibe he gets frm the way they act around other guys, but i wudnt hold tht as afast rule, as no one knows tht my friend nis gay apart frm me and his bf, no one gay or straight has ever guessed. He says the only way he would know is to ask them, if you're close enough to someone and do think they may be gay for whtever reason id just do wht i said and pick a moment durng an appropriate conversation to ask him if he is. Well you know how strait guys act around guy guys, so get to be friends with him then joke around about it and if he takes it serious then he is gay and work on it from there.

Compliment him on his look,and see how he responds.Straight men usually usually don't encourage compliments from gay guys.But if he's gay he'll probably warm up to the question.
