I'm writing a persuasive essay and I need like three solid topic sentences, so far I've got 1. Good ratings 2. Great characters
and maybe 3. great plots
so if anyone can expand those or give more reasons tha'd be great, thanks

One thought that I like about the show is how they talk to the camera. They speak like a normal person talks to the camera. Some words are repeated. Like Pam she say umm alot. Michael always looks towards the camera to make out a point. And Jim always makes faces to the camera when someone says something that does not make sense. It really makes the show so real. The writers go into so much detail to make the show creative. And of course the actors play a huge part as well. That's what I find so appealing.

It is different from all other sitcoms....meaning it doesn't follow the standard joke laugh pattern and there is no laugh track. It takes some people time to like the show because it isn't typical. It is a remake of the British version, but it is truly quite original in its political incorrectness and genuine naivety of the characters.

4. Because Like it or not, Steve Carell is one of the best comedy actors currently out there, and is much better than the other guy who uses his type of comedy, Will Ferrell.

i would do 1. it keeps me laughing the whole show, 2. the characters are awesome, and never get boring, 3. good ratings, and any awards the show has received.
-- the office is my favorite show. i dont watch tv to often but i alwayss make sure i watch this one!!!!
