I have a friend who is not talking to me for no apparent reason. I'm sick of trying to mend what ever is broken. Should I just go on with my life or should I try harder to be her friend?

it's bad when someone is not talking to you, and you have no idea why. someone may have told her something about you that isn't true. I would just walk right up to her and tell her that you can't help but wonder what in the world has happened. and ask her to tell you what the silent treatment is all about. if she tells you something that isn't true, you have the chance to set things straight. if she won't talk to you at all, then you're probably better off without her in your life. and it's time to give up trying with her.

Move on with your life. I had this happen with two of my best friends (well, ex now). The stopped talking with me for no apparant reason, even going so far as to look past me while I was standing in front of them, and ignoring me around mutual friends.

Is she ignoring you when you try and even say 'hi?' If so, just move on, such pettiness is really not worth the effort.

Try to ask her but if she won't give you the time of day, Get on with life she must have a problem with you and it doesn't matter if it is something she dreamed up or someone lied about you if she was a true friend she would have talked to you.

Think about what happened these days and if that doesn't realy help my advice is to talk to her! Try not yelling and calm down. I bet you guys would be friends by no time!

get on with life-- if she won't tell you what she's upset about how does she expect you to fix it?
then again-- you could point this out to her.
