Put toothpaste on it, or lick it. - It works for me.
If it is really bad, then you will just have to get a new one - you can't do anything if it's really bad.

Get some turtle wax (like you'd use for your car) and a soft rag. Slowly buff the wax in to the scratch using a circular motion until the wax is gone. Only use a teeny-tiny bit of the wax. Good luck!

you can tey two methods that work for me.....one get the cd and rotate damaged side under running water....for some reason, this has helped my damaged cd's play (especially xbox/ps2 game cd's)

you can also purchase a cd cleaner which if you look hard, you'll find a repectable cleaner for a good price

go to the $store and buy cotton swabs..buy a thing of turtle wax..car wash..aplpy a thin layer on the disk..when it dries don't go in circles..go up and down til the disk is clean..wax fills in the scratched part..they came from a video store owner:)

I dont think that there really is a way if its that bad
if it was a fingerprint you could use windex that really helps.If the scratch isnt that bad i would just use windex. As you can see i use windex a lot!

toothpaste works like a charm

put a thin layer on the scratch, let it sit for a while, then wipe it off

If its a deep scratch theres no way, because parts of the disk are lost.
