how long will it take for my breast milk to dry up if i recently stopped breast feeding? just want to know how long it will be till my breasts go back to normal.

not necessarily normal, but so that they don't leak anymore lol.

They never go back to normal. But the milk should dry up completely in a few weeks.

When did you stop? If it was like today or yester day get ready for engorgement...the best thing for this is to apply cold packs...stay away from heat because this makes it worse!

It took my breasts two weeks before I didn't have to wear breast pads but I still leak and it's been a month.

This is going to seem extremely wierd but my girlfriend has had 4 kids and she has always done this and it works. SERIOUSLY. Go to the grocers and get a head of cabbage. pack your bra with 2-3 leaves in each side. within about 2 days you will completely dried up.

I personally am still BF but my sister in law swears by eating parsley...in fact she has warned me about eating it because I may end my BF days (ok that may be a little drastic)

All I can say is try it out!

if u are totally done it will only be a few weeks and there never normal hunny there swishy and saggy lol giggle but its worth it
