Yes. I believe forced labor should not be part of childhood. As children, you are still developing and learning. You are growing and becoming mature. Forced labor would not allow a child to be be a child. They would not have the ability to play and experience new things. We have enough time for work when we are adults.

I wouldn't call it forced labor, but look at it this way. As you grow up and have things or chores to do, you gain responsibility and learn how to work solve problems and get the job done. I work with lots of people and can tell the ones who are self motivators, who need little supervision, and do the best jobs, had parents who worked with them to teach them this responsibility.

Too many kids show up to work and want a title and a check, but don't want to work for it. You may not understand it growing up, why you have to clean your room, mow the yard, help clean house, put out the trash, but all these things teach you how to be a responsible person.

Depends on what you mean by forced labor.

If kids aren't assigned chores by their parents, there's a good chance they'll be whinny slackers.
