Incase no one out here cares enough about the holidays to find out how other cultures celebrate it heres some cool facts: (jk about if ya dont care enoguh)
1) In Urkraine, the house has to be cleaned top to bottom and swept, but if any spider is found it has to be left undisturbed for the enitre day. If not, the main dish must be thrown out.
2) In France, special care is taken to the animals on Christmas Eve because it is believed that the god of Domestic Animals will come to the animals at night. It will give them the magic ability to speak and they will tell him all about how they've been treated throghtout the entire year. If the animal reports bad or cruel things, next years crop growth could be affected. If they report very good things, the family will be hapy and healthy until next Christmas.
When I find more Ill edit this.
Just for clarification I used World Book book's Christmas in Ukraine and Christmas in France for these facts

But in France, candy shops make foot-high Pere Noels (American Santa Claus) out of chocolate.
