As far as I know (and I checked a couple of name databases), it doesn't mean anything because it's a made-up name.

Incidentally, while that may be a lovely name, consider how difficult it will be to pronounce. Your kid would be correcting everyone constantly. I would have no idea how to pronounce that name, given the way it's spelled.

Also, I would stay away from names that are too stereotypically ethnic, because to a lot of people JeLaah will sound like "Don't hire me."

My roommate is named Shakita, and she HATES her name, because it's so stereotypical and she has trouble getting interviews. You might like the name now, but down the road you'll wish you'd gone with a more classic name.

It's not spelled like it sounds there is a letter missing and people would pronounce it: Gee-Luh
