I have a step mom asd step sister i have only have seen my step sister like twice and i need to get them a good and thoughtful give....anybody got some good ideas

Gift cards are always a YES, but if you want to look like you put thought into the gift, women like things like candle and certificates for pedicures/spa treatments/massages, etc. Hope that helps.

Clothes can be risky if you aren't close or don't know the person well. The wrong size or style can be insulting.... same with shoes. If you are considering clothes or shoes you should probably get a gift card to their favorite store.
I would try to think of their hobbies or interests and go from there. If I was still clueless, I would probably go with the gift card idea. My fiance gave me a gift card to a local spa/salon before we got married for a day of pampering. They gave massages there as well. Most women love stuff like that.

Women like to take the shopping part,provided that we "men" take the payment part , so buy them an amazon gift certificate and let them shop from the thousands of products found on amazon, you can find gift certificates at http://goodmanzone.tripod.com the best part in all this is that we "men" determine in advance how much are women going to spend , because you buy the certificate with as much as you like " from $5 to $5000"

Gift Card is always good since you don't see them often or not know what they like, i suggest the Gift Cards or go to Body &Bath Works get a small gift basket nice gift and yet reasonable prices.

An American Express gift card is good because its more thoughtful than just cash or a check and can be used like a real American express debit/credit card. This way these people you barely know can buy something they like or need

Give them a card and put a promise (and keep it) to take them to a lunch/dinner anywhere (doesn't have to be expensive) and go somewhere they would like. but make it a "getting to know you" afternoon/evening. Just the three of you.
You don't say how old you are, but assuming you don't drive, you may have to rely on an adults assistance (Dad?) for transportation.

get a wicker basket, fill it with scented candles, lotions, bath gels, bath salts, etc, a loofah, maybe throw in a small box of chocolates. wrap it in coloerd cellophane and put into a gift bag with tissue paper to cover it up.

it depends how old your step sister is... to be a sure hit, women can never resist clothes... its their one weakness... clothes and shoes.
if your step mom wouldnt appreciate clothes/shoes also, try getting her something that will help her around the house maybe?
