I'm flying to Tennessee but I have to change flights in Denver on Dec. 28 and Jan. 3. I was wondeing how is the weather going to be then because I don't want to get stuck there because this trip is really important. Can anyone give me an estimate if it's going to snow or a website where it has the future weather or averages... HELP!

We are very accustomed to weather changes here in Denver. It is supposed to be up to 60 today but during New Year's it will probably change. Generally, it is moderate to cold, but I don't remember any big snow storms right around New Years. The airport can handle storms, our biggest problem generally lies with the other airports accross the country when they get hit with big storms and don't have enough de-icing machines. Unless we get a huge blizzard, you will be alright from the Denver end of things. Have a nice trip!

On Dec 28 every year we get about a foot of snow and on Jan 3 every year the temp is about -28. Who the hell knows? This is one of the hardest areas in the country to forcast the weather and even the best forcasters say beyond ten days you're really just guessing.

nobody will be able to tell you for sure if there will be a big snow storm then but considering we dont get many that are severe enough to delay flights, the odds are you wont have a problem. Also I have heard colorado will have a dry winter.

Denver is usually open--it is a major hub, but it is Winter in Colorado and something could happen.
