They didnt have sports like soccor because they werent invented in ancient rome the most popular sports were gladiators Killing Defending slaying beasts..
and all that blood & gore yukky stuff

Have you seen the film Gladiator .
The opponents use to fight till death for the entertainment of others.
They did play other reasonable sports but i think this was the favourite

they had the olympics, with the gladiator fights... they re-created battles... and im guessing like lion-fight things... stuff like that

hmmm do you mean the kids or just in general....in general running, javelin throwing and wrestling were popular..they did these in public excercise grounds.
they liked chariot races BIG TIME..moreof a spectator sport so dunno if thats helpful?:)
