Saddam isn't going to be released. The UN isn't going to do anything about Iraq since it has already extended the US' occupation of Iraq. That is, the UN Security Council has said it is okay for the US to be there. Maybe the UN Human Rights Commission or some other group has complained, but they don't have the same power as the Security Council. Since the US has a veto on the Security Council, don't expect anything out of there except maybe some vetos (and even that is unlikely).

Saddam is not going to be free, yes the UN filed against this because US was supposed to cease attacks and all sort of tactics to this invasion, they had a meeting a while back about this subject, but US wanted to do everything in a non diplomatic way.

Nope. He was found guilty in an Iraqi court and sentenced to death. This automatically triggers an appeal process, after which, if upheld, means he eventually bites the big one.
