He was living on the lake in a tent.He was dying of alcoholism and looked very scarey.Still, I saw somthing in his eyes and I knew I had to help him.I found out he used to be in a band and he had pawned his guitar.I had the guitar my friend had left me in my car. I handed it to him and ask him to play. To my overwhelming surprise, his cracked and dirty fingers rolled over the strings playing the most beautiful music I had ever heard, accompanied with the voice of an angel, totally on key. Tears uncontrolably rolled down my face. It took all my efforts, but I got him into a half-way house. After staying drunk for 40 years, he's been sober going on 5 years, and he's about to start his own business, still playing on the side. He's one of my best friends, now.(alot like my friend I lost) My question is,"was this 'fate' or is there another name for the series of events that took place?"

What a beautiful lesson of life you learned. Believe it or not, you wrote this into your life plan before you were born. You needed your spirit guide (your late friend) to guide you with the tool she gave you. I think it's wonderful that your tears inspired someone to make a drastic change in their life. This is what life is all about, we are here to learn tolerance, patience, sorrow, grief, agony, happiness, bliss...etc. There is no such thing as fate, but there is free will, and that is something we can't write in our life plan. When we leave here, the first place our astral being goes to is the hall of records to look at our plan to see if we followed it, and we decide if we need to come back and learn more. Read up on Astral travels, and you start to see that the human body is just the vehicle we use here, it's the spirit that is important. Great story, thanks for sharing!

That is a beautiful story! What an amazing thing to experience! I think it's fate. Perhaps your best friend was trying to reach you once more, and help you help others in as much grief as you were in.

i don't have self belief it became destiny. i imagine God became assisting you to grieve by using creating the finest of a nasty situation...perchance i'm incorrect, yet human beings are continuously asking why God makes undesirable issues ensue. i imagine human beings have own loose will--we are no longer God's puppets, and with evil in the international undesirable issues can ensue--like the inability of life of your chum. yet God can 'tug at our hearts.' He would have led you to that position. speaking with the guy, and making the relationship between his being in a band and the guitar on your vehicle became all you, even with the very undeniable truth that i'm constructive it became His concept. perchance i'm only rambling (I referred to your request for more desirable solutions in this topic--i imagine human beings do exactly not opt to scroll by using the questions, so after an afternoon or maybe hours, you're a lot less likely to get solutions). i imagine it became God assisting you to grieve and assisting the guy end his issues. One undesirable journey, yet 2 instantaneous reliable consequences, and now that you're sharing your tale even more desirable human beings are benifitting. My concern with calling it destiny is that takes your moves out of the photo. It became compassion that led you to assist the guy, no longer some predestined rigidity. i imagine it really is a superb ingredient you probably did for that guy--if actually more desirable human beings took time to be compassionate, are you able to photo how large the international will be? i'm continuously surprised when I examine with homeless human beings--maximum of them are fairly large and sensible human beings, they only oftentimes have undesirable social qualifications or undesirable habit that ward off success. thanks for assisting!! And God Bless You!

God bless you and this man, and your dearly departed friend. That is a most beautiful story I ever heard. In playing your friend's guitar he is keeping her spirit alive, and giving him hope and a new life. Cool.
