I worked my reg. hours through out the week, and I worked on Saturday (i got OT) but on Tuesday I got sick and filled out a form to use my sick time to replace that day. The owner's wife change it and used my OT time instead of my sick time. I got pissed and asked for all my vacation hours. Was I wrong? They didn't ask me if they should've done that, I just feel they should've asked!

Not knowing if there's a employee policy manual, it's difficult to determine who was wrong here. My guess is that the owner's wife noticed that you didn't work over 40 hours and therefore denied you the overtime. Sounds like a small enterprise.

Does your company have a handbook or policy manual? From what you described it doesn't sound illegal and had you gotten "sick pay" it would have been at regular time most likely-the law is a minimum of 1.5 for hours WORKED over 40 in a work week.

Hope that makes sense.
