Why Americans should release Japanese- Americans in camps, in February 1, 1944?

My father was a POW - Japan for 44 months and cambe back 92 pounds (usually 6 foot, 225 lbs).

What rights do you think he had, when they treated him like an animal, and he had scars all over from the beatings and he said the worst were when they hung them upside down and then beat them. He still stayed in the US Navy 20 years, because he didn't know what else to do.
He left us all when I was 10.
I forgave him in person when I was 18 when I went to see him. I could not hate a ghost anymore.
