Netgear Router won't install? [setup]?

I installed cd disk out of box . Computer reconized the disk Picture of router came up and I selected setup.This is as far as I got.It's frozen on what it says "" Installation assistant is loading" and if it I doesn't download in 30 seconds remove cd.I have DSL .I have limited computer experience.When I disconnected my antivirus and spyware it didn't make any difference.My firewall set on medium settings.

get another router it happened to me went with belkin no problem.
