which one??? anything by Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Early Sublime...
Come as You Are by Nirvana and Green Day's "When I come Around" were pretty popular that year

Depends really on whether your british or not, but a few british songs were :

shaggy - oh carolina
ace of base - all that she wants
culture beat - mr vain
freddy murcury - living on my own

those are just a few chart hits, and by no means do i endorse them as being good!

a few others if you want to reflect the times and grunge era are :

the whole of the in utero album by nirvana
the whole of the undertow album by tool
most of the siamese dream album by smashing pumpkins
most of the generation terrorists by manic street preachers

Well my favourite band is Motley Crue, but that doesn't mean i have to like all of there songsl; because in 1993 they had John Corabi instead of Vince Neil, i just don't flow wit dat. But I like November Rain from G n' R.
