Unlike General Eisenhower Mr.Bush has not done one thing positive for this country to be remembered for. He will go down in history as a bumbling fool. Much worse than Clinton or Carter, the two presidents that the Republicans like to pick on.

Without looking, the president 50 years ago was Dwight Eisenhower. He was also a Republican, but not even a little bit like Bush. He was the man who warned us of the "Military Industrial Complex, established the interstate system, and who was one of the masterminds behind our ultimate victory in WWII.
I'm not an historian, so I don't know if Bush is our worse president ever, but I do know that he is the worst in my 61 years. He'll be remembered allright.

he will be viewed just as the next democrat (and it will be a democrat) president is viewed because whats gonna happen is that democrat president will have to face some big problem like 911 or a sadam and have to make a decision and people will always find something against that decision and it will turn into another "bush and iraq" and that person will be like a bush in some ppl's eyes today...everyone criticizes bush but then again, no one has had to make as serious decisions as hes had to make so ...whatever i dont even know where im going with quite frankly :-$ sorry

Depends on who is writing the history books. Countless ruthless men who caused destruction throughout the country are painted as heros, tycoons, the epitome of the american dream.
Why should it be any different 50 or 100 years from now.

don't worry he won't be forgotten and the best part , there will be many books written by historians with facts to back up the Truth like no weapons of mass destruction. It doesn't matter if he was a Republican are Democrat, my opinion won't change about him. Also keep in mind grandparents tell historical story's by the way, we won't forget. We wont forget all the people that died either, he has blood on his hands and he won't be able to wash it off

How Iraq ultimately seems will probable sway plenty approximately forgiving the errors in execution for a fashion the war replaced into performed. i think of it is going to likely be plenty greater forgiving --if the outcry that FDR and LBJ, even Lincoln, at their latest time additionally contended with.
