I know the feeling. We worry too much about a minority of people that we take away from the majority. I do believe the white house is still calling it the Christmas tree instead of the Holiday tree, but that will most likely change soon. Oh, and I don't think it is all foreigners who are doing this. These are people who speak the language and grew up here as kids.

Don't blame foreigners. We're all foreigners. Every one of us. We're also Americans.
It is overzealous extremists from both the conservative and liberal sides who have their hands in the political correctness circus. People are so concerned with not offending someone that they are now offending EVERYONE.
Remember: This country was founded by foreigners...and is still a melting pot. Immigrants are part of what makes America great. All the things we love most about being Americans come from our "We're better than everyone else because we came to America to be free and successful" mentality. Don't forget that those who come to America now come with the same mind-set. People who come to the USA legally deserve what the US has to offer.
Make the holidays what you want. I say if someone doesn't like you saying Merry Christmas then just smile and say "oh well." Really, the only place you have any control is yourself and your home. Eventually people are going to get so pissed off about this nonsense that something will happen.
But it has nothing to do with "Foreigners."

No one is taking Christmas away -- that's a delusion. Turn on the TV -- ads, movies, specials, all about Christmas. Those who celebrate Christmas will all do so this year, as always.
The people who are suggesting that we finally acknowledge that not everyone here is Christian are Americans.
I can't help wondering what ethnicity you are. Are you the descendant of foreigners?

We in England are experiencing the same problems. No British flag on taxis in some areas for fear of upsetting immigrant nationalities. No christmas dec's in other areas for the same reason.
It should be made compulsory to speak english before being allowed to settle here.

The items that you listed have absolutely nothing to do with foreigners--they all have to do with RELIGION. If you haven't figured it out by now, this country is greatly influenced by a growing theocracy that's slowly taking a stronghold over customs that we at one time never thought were the norm.
Proof that religion can be a dangerous thing.

Change can be a good thing...Think about when the first "Americans" landed in America and claimed it as their own land...If it weren't for them...you probably wouldn't be in America.
America is the land of opportunity and many people risk their lives to escape poverty, injustices and torture that often occur in their own country. Instead of being upset by the influx of foreigners, try to understand why they come and you would probably be more accepting of them.
For issues of Christmas and spirituality, I bet you can blame your fellow Americans for that. We take many things for granted in our county...freedom of religion being one of the most important. IIf we aren't more careful, we will soon be stripped of that.
