My 90 year old great-aunt knitted "something". I think it was supposed to be a tiny stocking -- but it looks more like a half circle of green, red, and white yarn. But she mailed it and a $1 to me the last Christmas she was alive - 10 years ago!!. So I hang it on the tree every year, think of her, and smile, then snuggle under the beautiful afghan she knitted 20 years ago!!

The strangest I have received is a candycane with a purple mouse wrapped around the curve - it is so strange that it is adorable! Now the strangest I have given is a silver glittered styro ball made into a santa holding a beer... Believe it or not, it was PERFECT for the guy! Merry Christmas!

An exceptionally bizarre ornament shaped like a really weird fancy shoe to "match my personality"...I am still not sure what a blue ornate high heeled ceramic shoe with a christmas theme means for my personality as a whole:)

Two actually: My wife and I found them in the French Quarter, after Katrina. They are both beautiful deep blue european glass. One says "Katrina Sucks", the other "You loot, We shoot". They hang with honor on our tree.
